TEAM RETREAT DESIGN AND FACILITATION
UNESCO
CHALLENGE
Unlocking Collaboration and Cohesion.
The UNESCO's Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report Team faced a dual challenge: they needed to cultivate stronger relationships with their GEM Report audiences and embed the authentic voices and perspectives of their community into their everyday operations, all while adopting a modern CRM system.
FIRSTHAND INSIGHT
Appreciate essential similarities and differences.
Encouraging people to engage in meaningful conversations and empathetically embrace the perspectives of others is essential.
SOLUTION
Try on new perspectives.
Firsthand facilitated a team retreat featuring participatory group work and activities in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of both team and audience requirements.
OUTPUT
The retreat started by highlighting the team’s complementary strengths and interconnected contributions and then expanded this to consider the unique strengths, contributions and responsibilities of different audiences.
The team concluded the workshop primed for strategic evolution, tighter workstream cohesion, and enhanced communication prowess as they charged ahead into 2023.
